Wood for domestic builds
We have the expertise to grade and classify timbers and determine if they are best for decorative internal uses or are suitable for applications such as external timber framing or cladding. Where possible we aim to mill bespoke according to a client’s specification therefore reducing waste and cost for all parties.
Our stock of hardwoods is ever-changing so please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your build. Whether you know exactly what you’re looking for or just have an idea you’d like to build on our knowledgeable team can advise.
TREe planting
When and where possible the team collects seed from local trees to propagate saplings. Our passion and interest lies with native trees but we are looking at cultivating trees that are useful for sustainable building.
We aim to plant one tree for every one we have to cut down. Please contact our team for more information.
The circular economy
From tree planting to timber for domestic builds, we participate in the whole lifecycle of a tree.
If a tree has to come down we will endeavour to give it the respect it deserves, where possible; it’s a second life via milling. If not, then firewood or wood chip. Watch this space as we are currently developing composting facilities to more efficiently recycle our biomass. This compost will be available for purchase in the near future!
We work closely with local contractors and craftspeople who share in our reputation and principals.
